  3. In the Geophysics of North America CD-ROM access software, each data set
  4. that can be displayed is summarized with a label file.  This information
  5. defines (among other things) certain default conditions:

  7. If user selects -        Then

  9. View Image              Spatial dimensions are known
  10. All Area                Limits of view range are used
  11. Title Image             Description & units can be displayed
  12. Default Palette         Colors are spread over data value range
  13.  
  14. The label file should have a name which is identical to the data file.
  15. The software will add an .LBL extension to this name to distinguish the
  16. label file from the data file.
